Frocester 9076

Frocester Cricket Club is one of the top cricket clubs in Gloucestershire, fielding 5 teams on a Saturday. The 1st XI won the WEPL Premier 1 title in 2014 and 2015 and runners-up in 2016. The 2nd XI play in tier 3 of WEPL, with all the opposition being 1st XI's. The 3rd XI play in Division 3 of the GCL, whilst the 4th and 5th XI's play in the local Stroud League. With 2 delightful cricket grounds, Pounds Close and St Peters, playing or watching cricket at Frocester is always enjoyable.

The enviable youth structure has 3 Under 11 teams, 2 Under 13 teams and 2 Under 15 teams, with a developing women and girls section and SEN squad, all supported by an excellent Chance to Shine project.

The social activities, run by the Supporters Club committee, are almost without parallel. They aim to organise at least one event per month. Annual highlights include the Frocester Beer Festival, 37 years and still going strong. Whilst the Annual Ball proves ever popular. Other notable events include a Safari Supper and Advent Lunch, with league skittles ensuring the bar is open all year round.

The new pavilion is completed, up and running for the 2017 season. Please note that the clubhouse is now available for hire.
